Delete your account

1. Open Profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Select Account, then Delete account.
4. Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

Deleting your Vale account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple. Cancel it separately in your App Store subscription settings to prevent a future renewal. You keep access through the paid period after cancellation.

Email support@joinvale.app from the email connected to your account and include your Vale username. Vale may verify your identity before deleting account data.

Deletion removes account-linked database records, uploaded media, push tokens, community content, and study memberships. Restricted deletion-recovery records may retain the account identifier, receipt hash, provider-revocation time, and completion status for up to 30 days so an interrupted deletion can be checked and retried; they are then automatically deleted.

Private journals and some offline data live on your device. Delete the app or clear its local storage to remove those copies. Copies you exported, shared with other people, or stored in device or cloud backups must be removed separately.
